Diane Carriere, a First Nations woman from Norway House, Manitoba, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role as the Aboriginal Human Resource Council's National Director of Human Resource Development Strategies. Diane previously acted as the Aboriginal Human Resource Specialist at Manitoba Public Insurance where she developed and implemented the corporate Aboriginal Employment Initiative. Diane's achievements have been recognized with the Bill Hanson Award for Aboriginal Employment and the HRMAM Platinum & Silver Award for creating outstanding employment initiatives. A Certified Human Resource Professional, she holds an Arts degree from the University of Winnipeg and a Certificate in Human Resources from the University of Manitoba.
