Stéphane Brutus, CHRP, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Management at Concordia University's John Molson School of Business. He served as Director of the Research Centre for Business Process Innovations. Professor Brutus' research focuses mainly on formal and informal feedback processes in organizations. He has published on theses topics in Human Resource Development Quarterly, Leadership Quarterly, and the International Journal of Human Resource Management. He is Associate Editor of the Canadian Journal of Administrative Science and served as president of the Canadian Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology. He also authored chapters in Maximizing the value of 360-degree feedback and the Handbook of Multi-Source Feedback, both Jossey-Bass publications. Professor Brutus obtained his Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Bowling Green State University in 1995. He also completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Center of Creative Leadership (CCL) in Greensboro, North Carolina.
